Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have recently been among netizens' relationship goals for the example they've set since they've been together. But now, the DJ's ex-girlfriend Rita Ora is opening up about why they ended. Is she warning the "Wildest Dreams" singer about the DJ and her career?

In an interview for the October issue of Marie Claire UK, the "X Factor" judge said everything was doing well with her and the DJ until they decided to collaborate.

"There was a reason why I split up with him," she explained. "It was more of a thing where I was in awe. I was at that point in my relationship where I felt he could do no wrong."

"But then 'I Will Never Let You Down' came out, and everything started to go a bit weird," she added. "I don't know if it was because business was mixed with personal or what."

Rita Ora reportedly even said that the breakup with Taylor Swift's boyfriend Calvin Harris led to the the delay of her latest album's release because she was hurting.

"I was distracted and got carried away and it didn't really work out," she explained to Digital Spy UK. "I was affected by it so I just put everything on hold because I was a sulky 24-year-old and I was hurt. And now I'm back."

This is not the first time that Ora purportedly has warned the "Wildest Dreams" singer.

"Rita has become concerned that Taylor is headed for yet another heartbreak," a source told Hollywood Life as quoted by Yahoo! Lifestyle Australia back in March.

"She passed a message to Taylor through a mutual friend to give her a head's up that while Calvin might be the most wonderful boyfriend at first, showering his partners with flowers, presents, and nonstop affection, he eventually turns as cold as ice for no reason," the source added.

But even though the "X Factor" judge and the DJ had split, they still both commend each other's talent.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest shortly after their breakup in 2014, Harris acknowledged Ora's talent.

"She is incredibly talented," Taylor Swift's boyfriend Calvin Harris said about Rita Ora. "Listen, this girl, I don't know if people even realize it, but she's going to be around probably our lifetimes. She works insanely hard. You know, she makes crazy decisions, but she works insanely hard."
