Dwayne Johnson Reflects On Pets Almost Drowning; Statement Released!

Labor Day weekend was filled with excitement at Dwayne Johnson's home as the new pets he adopted almost drowned. However, his swift rescue saved the day.

As reported by People, the new pups that The Rock adopted apparently rushed to the swimming pool and couldn't get out at once they were on water. The actor shared the whole story through a post on Instagram.

"I set them both down and they both take off in a full sprint and fall right into the deep end of our pool," he started on the Instagram post. "HOBBS immediately starts doggy paddling while BRUTUS (like a brick) sink heads first to the bottom of the pool."

"I take off into a full sprint, fully clothed, dive in the pool, swim to the bottom, rescue my brick, I mean BRUTUS and bring him back to the edge of the pool," he continued." "He was a little delirious... took a moment, threw up all the water he swallowed and looked up at me as if to say, 'Thank God you didn't have to give me mouth to mouth!' and then ran off to play with his brother."

While Dwayne Johnson's pets were saved, The Rock's mobile phone was not so lucky.

"While spiriting to save your puppies' life, before you dive in, try and throw your cellphone to safety," he wrote. "Don't keep it in your pocket... like I did."

He also shared, as cited on Us Weekly, how important it is as a dog owner to be alert for your dogs.

"A) Not all puppies have the instinct to doggie paddle," he stated. "B) Some puppies (like BRUTUS) will be so in shock by experiencing water they will sink extremely fast so react quick."

Aside from pets Brutus and Hobbs, Dwayne Johnson also has another pet dog and apparently also owns horses as shared on his social media account.
