The Heretics will be let loose in "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 creating a lot of wriggle room for the writers of the show to create chaos in the show, the latest spoilers revealed.

Elizabeth Blackmore, who plays one of the Heretics named Valerie, told TVLine, "They're pretty far from anything the show has seen so far, which is really exciting."

"There's some funny adjusting at first - they're waking up 100 years in the future where there are iPhones, computers and all that - but there's also some darkness going on."

But the Heretics will be introduced to the audience in a big way in the season premiere, which will let the audience realize that they are something to be reckoned with.

Blackmore added more "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 spoilers saying that there's tension within the Heretics' clique-specifically with Valerie and the same-sex couple Nora and Mary-Louise-even as they will sow chaos in Mystic Falls.

"There's a lot of bickering," she said. "Valerie is more of a loner because she's quite often left out of things. She tends to be a little moodier than the others."

Ian Somerhalder, meanwhile, also gave "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 spoilers as he said that Lily's decision to side with her new family will create a whole different dynamic.

"It's not cool at all that she left us and had this entirely new family that we're not even a part of," he said. "She treats us like we're outcasts, like we're the bastard children. There area lot of dynamics floating around, so I don't know where Damon's going to go from here."

Ian Somehalder will sit on the director's chair for an episode of "The Vampire Diaries" as shown in the Instagram photo shared by MTV News.

"You might recall he made his splashy directorial debut with the must-see episode 'The Downward Spiral' near the end of Season 6," the article said. "And according to his caption for this pic, this was happening 'right now' as of this weekend."
