Norman Reedus Directing A ‘Walking Dead' Episode? Opens Up On His ‘Favorite Job!'

Directing flicks has always been an interest for "Walking Dead's" Norman Reedus. Recently, the actor revealed that he's also been asked to direct an episode for the TV series but he immediately rejected it.

In a feature on The Red Bulletin, the actor revealed that he thought it would be awkward to direct his fellow cast members on the show.

"They ask me every year whether I want to direct an episode of "The Walking Dead," he shared.

"And I say no, because I don't want to direct my friends," he added. "I think it would be weird for me to be like 'hey, you should do this.' It's a band of brothers on that and I'm very happy to be Robin to Batman."

The actor has admitted in the same interview that he doesn't like hanging out with the cast after filming fueling rumors that he might hate them. But it seemed the cast was family to him.

"It's my favorite job I've ever had," Norman Reedus told Imagista about being part of "Walking Dead." "I'm having a blast on that show."

"The cast and the crew and everybody there, they become such a tight family," he also said. "It feels good when the band's together. It's quite the blessing actually."

With acting and directing under his belt, a recently released photo book and a successful TV career, the actor also shared that his path to success has not been easy.

"I've always lived hand-to- hand, and job-to-job," he revealed. "It's nice to have a 9-5 instead of trying to find a job to pay the rent this month and doing an art show to pay the rent the next. I'm still that guy. But I made it."

And after the experiencing feats, the actor doesn't forget to give back. As reported by MTV, "Walking Dead's" Norman Reedus is currently working with Make-A-Wish Foundation and Omaze. He's bringing a lucky fan to the premiere of the TV show's season six next month.
