Tori Spelling posted an Instagram photo of her three-year-old daughter wearing make-up.

The post was reported by She Knows, which makes it seem like the former "Beverly Hills 90210" cast member is simply snubbing critics who are questioning her parenting.

The snapshot of the actress' youngest daughter, Hattie McDermott, was uploaded by Tori Spelling on the photo sharing site earlier this week. In the caption, the former teen star explained how she and the toddler got stranded with a flat tire.

Out of boredom, the mother-of-four kept her daughter preoccupied by putting makeup on her.

"It's only the 2nd day of school and... #Things2DoWithYourToddler when you are stuck on the side of the road with a flat tire!" Tori Spelling captioned the shot, showing Hattie McDermott wearing lipstick and eye makeup.

While several Instagram followers commented that the photo was cute, some pointed out that Tori Spelling should not let her kids play with makeup.

"[She's] too young to be putting make up on her even if it is just for fun," said a follower named mrsjennilucas.

Prior to the made-up photos of Hattie McDermott, Tori Spelling's previous Instagram shots showed her eldest daughter looking too mature for her age.

Radar Online previously reported about the images, which showed seven-year-old Stella McDermott wearing makeup and heels on regular days.

"[Stella] is allowed to wear lipstick and eyeshadow that she picks out during shopping trips with Tori," an insider told the news site.

Mothers of Stella McDermott's friends have reportedly advised Tori that her daughter is too young for cosmetics.

"[They] have told Tori their kids aren't allowed to wear any make-up, but Tori doesn't supervise what they do," a source shared.

Aside from makeup issues, a previous report from Sheknows.com shared how Tori Spelling also lets her kids dye their hair.

In an Instagram photo uploaded last month from a family vacation, Stella McDermott and her eight-year-old brother Liam were seen with brightly colored hair. Criticisms quickly poured in questioning the mother-of-four's parenting skills.

"Okay why are Stella & Liam's hair bleached!!?? Crazy!" one follower commented.

"I don't know in the US, but in France, it's forbidden to dye kids' hair. Too much chemicals!" another fan pointed out.

However, some of Tori Spelling's fans spoke up to defend her.

"Her son is at an age when they start to want to look the way they want," one fan commented. "She's an amazing mom it's not cool to criticize what she does. Just because she is a celebrity doesn't mean she is different from any of us."
