Liam Neeson's Frail Looks Stirs Rumors 'Taken' Actor Is Ill

The concerns regarding Liam Neeson's health started in July when he was photographed looking very frail. And the "Taken" actor didn't really assuage the fears that he is ill when he was snapped in New York on Monday still with a gaunt look.

"The 63-year-old actor, famed for his on-screen action roles, covered up his leaner frame in baggy casual clothes as he headed to the Atlantic Grill eatery," said Daily Mail. "Stooping slightly as he strolled through the city's street, the award-winning actor teamed his loose fitting jacket with a black printed T-shirt."

According to the report, Liam Neeson was on his way to a lunch meeting.

However, a rep for Liam Neeson already denied that the "Taken" actor is ill.

"The rep says the 63-year-old actor is 'healthy as ever,' despite his ghostly appearance in the pic," said TMZ.

"The rep adds Neeson changed his diet and started doing more exercise about a year ago and credits that for the weight loss," it added. "Plus, the rep says ... it's just an unflattering pic."

Back in July, the "Taken" actor was snapped trying to keep a low profile, wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses, while walking around in SoHo in New York. But Liam Neeson's gaunt appearance sparked rumors about the actor being ill.

"Wearing a loose pink t-shirt and a grey jacket which hung off his slight frame, the star appeared downcast as he walked past cameras," Daily Mirror said.

"It will no doubt come as a shock to fans, after Liam was spotted just weeks ago looking happy and healthy at The Ronald McDonald House in New York," it said.

Back then, there were speculations that Liam Neeson wasn't sick and that he was just preparing for a role. But he just finished production for a Martin Scorsese film and was supposed to start filming this month.

However, the latest photo of Liam Neeson still looking ill would fuel the concerns of the fans some more.
