Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reportedly consulted a transgender expert to show support for their nine-year-old daughter Shiloh Jolie-Pitt.

The 51-year-old "World War Z" actor and the "Maleficent" star are rumored to have addressed their daughter's gender dysmorphia, a Radar Online report said.

"Brad and Angelina were only coming from a place of love and only wanting the best for Shiloh," an insider told. "They want Shiloh to feel loved and secure."

It can be recalled that in an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2008, Angelina Jolie's husband Brad Pitt revealed that their daughter Shiloh wants to be called as John.

Brad Pitt said that he and Angelina Jolie support their daughter's decision.

Meanwhile in her interview for Vanity Fair in 2010, Angelina Jolie explained that Shiloh Jolie-Pitt wants to dress like a boy.

"She wants to be a boy. So we had to cut her hair. She likes to wear boys' everything. She thinks she's one of the brothers," the "Maleficent" actress said.

Both parents know that even if Shiloh Jolie-Pitt does not have older brothers who wear suits, she will still want to be a boy, OK! Magazine said.

"Brad was told Shiloh would have gravitated towards dressing as a boy, and being called John, even if [their] siblings were all girls," the source further said. "It's just the way Shiloh is."

But the source added that both Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have not completely labeled their daughter as a transgender as Shiloh Jolie-Pitt  is still a child and she could change as years pass by.

"There are no concrete answers. Brad and Angelina are committed to giving Shiloh a loving family environment," the insider concluded

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who will star together in their first movie as a married couple in "By the Sea," has five more children namely-Vivienne, Pax, Zahara, Maddoxx and Leon.
