Victoria Beckham Fears Spice Girls Reunion Would Bring Back Panic Attacks?

The Spice Girls reunion has yet to be confirmed but fans continue to rave about it. Many are also wondering if Posh Spice aka Victoria Beckham would grace the much-anticipated reunion.

In a report on Yahoo! Celebrity, it was cited that Mrs. Beckham was reportedly begging off from joining the possible reunion.

"Geri filled Victoria in on the plans for the reunion next year and while Victoria made it clear she couldn't make it, she said she was more than happy for the other girls to go ahead," an insider told The Sun as quoted by the source above. "It's wrong to suggest she would try to stop them doing it if the other girls wanted to."

The fashion designer has yet to address the rumors but was said to be busy at the moment because of her fashion line. Just last week, she owned New York Fashion Week with her latest collection but also earned the ire of many for having skinny models on her runway as reported by Cosmopolitan.

It was not clear if Beckham had other reasons to be unavailable if a girl band reunion does happen or if it is connected to the panic attack she had before the London Olympics. Back in 2012, it was reported that Victoria Beckham suffered a panic attack during their Spice Girls reunion performance after being away from the stage for so long.

"I was in the taxi with Emma [Bunton] before we started and I nearly just got out of the car," she said then as quoted by Huffington Post. "I was so nervous. I felt sick and Emma was so amazing. Honestly, that's how you know a real friend. If it wasn't for her, I would not have been out there."

Her other former bandmates have been evasive as well when asked of the rumored reunion.

"It almost feels you know that [the Spice Girls] belongs to everyone, like a generation," Geri Halliwell told "This Morning" as cited by Metro. "So I think it's one of those things that's been discussed, but until it's concrete I wouldn't announce it."

"You know what, there's nothing to really spill because nothing has been announced, nothing is official," Melanie Brown also explained at the Merideth Vieira Show as mentioned by the Evening Standard. "Yes we are in talks because it's our 20th anniversary and I want something to happen."

"I'm forcing them a little bit," she added. "I've been saying it for five years, 'we are reuniting, aren't we? are we? we are? We need to!'"

Scary Spice also slammed reports that she and Victoria Beckham were fighting amid the Spice Girls reunion rumors.
