Blake Shelton's drinking problem has reportedly gotten worse since his divorce from Miranda Lambert.

According to the latest report from In Touch Weekly, as shared by IBTimes, claimed that Blake Shelton "was doing shots of tequila nonstop and partied with strippers all weekend. Things got more and more [wild] each day he was there."

Accordingly, Blake Shelton's drinking problem escalated after his divorce from Miranda Lambert.

"He's free-falling to a very bad place. Of course, he's always liked to drink a lot, but now his alcohol consumption has skyrocketed. She kept Blake grounded. She was his voice of reason," the source said.

Blake Shelton has never denied his love of drinking, but the In Touch cover claimed that it has become a problem. The title reads, "Rehab For Blake: He Finally Hits Rock Bottom."

Below the title are two kickers. One claims, "Drinking vodka before noon & slurring his words - it's worse than anyone knows."

Two more kickers says, "What he did while wasted that destroyed his marriage" and "How his friends begged him to stop joking about drinking & get help."

The couple released a statement confirming their split. It read, "This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends, and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter."

Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert's divorce was finalized just hours after their announcement.

Apart from his alleged drinking problem, Blake Shelton also allegedly took comfort in the arms of Gwen Stefani, his co-judge in "The Voice" after the divorce, which didn't sit well with Miranda Lambert.

According to Life & Style magazine, the country lass was "really upset" upon hearing about the rumors on Blake Shelton dating Gwen Stefani, his fellow judge on "The Voice."

"Before Blake hooked up with Gwen, Miranda and Gwen were friendly. But her new relationship with Blake will definitely ruin any chance of them ever being close again."
