CNBLUE To Open Second School In Burkina Faso, Africa: 100 Underprivileged Children Currently Attending First CNBLUE School [PHOTOS]

CNBLUE announced Thursday that they are opening a second school in Burkina Faso, one of Africa's smallest and most impoverished countries.

Roughly 100 children currently attend classes at the first CNBLUE School opened last year by the K-pop group with a portion of their touring profits and album royalties.

In addition to providing education to the students, may who have parents who would not otherwise be able to send their children to school, the CNBLUE School offers a pre-school, after school classes and nutritious food for the kids.

"While thinking of ways to repay the huge support and love from its fans, the members of CNBLUE got an idea for the 'Build a School' project," a representative form the band's record label FNC Entertainment told CJ E&M enewsWorld when they announced the creation of the first school. "In the future, we plan to take an active role in sponsoring the neglected children [of Africa]."

Fans were overjoyed.

"Good charitable work boys!" Happy Lynn wrote on CNBLUE's website when the announcement of the first CN Blue was made. "Your kindness to other people will return to you a hundred fold and I for one is happy that the money I spent in buying your albums is partly put into good use. More power and God bless."

"God bless you clue," fan Luna wrote. "Great inspirational achievements reinstalling our hope in humanity kindness towards the less fortunate. Proud to be part of your fandom and making this happen by going to your concerts and buying your albums. Great excuse to spend money."

"Proud of you CNBLUE," wrote Bebell.

The K-pop band will reportedly fund the second CNBLUE School through the proceeds from their current world tour.

"CN Blue will be hosting a world tour to go through Asia, Oceania, the Americas and Europe, starting in Taiwan on April 6," a FNC Entertainment spokesperson said Thursday. "With the new donations, they plan to build the second school."

A visiting class of Yale University MBA students got a glimpse at the future of CNBLUE and FNC Entertainment last month when CEO Han Sung Ho gave a lecture at the and record label entertainment company's headquarters in Cheongdam-dong, South Korea.

"I've worked hard to make an entertainment label that gives happiness to people through bands, artists, and good music featuring FNC's unique color," Han Sung Ho said. "We're going to be launching an 'FNC Entertainment Brand Concert' tour with FTIsland, CNBLUE, Juniel, and AOA so we can emphasize FNC's colors even further."

One Yale student was overwhelmed seeing the place where K-pop magic is made.

"I chose the Korea visiting program because I am interested in Korea and the entertainment business," the Yaley said. "I'm awed at seeing FNC Entertainment's studio with the newest technology, the in-house producer system, and much more. It's more than I ever expected."
