Jesse James has opened up about the hardest part about the divorce with Sandra Bullock and that's losing his relationship with son, Louis.

In an interview on "In Depth with Graham Bensinger," Jesse James fully owned up to the divorce with Sandra Bullock, and although he moved on from that relationship, there are some things that he couldn't get past at.

"The relationship part I was able to put [aside]," he said. "I had to stand up in front of the media and take full account for what I did and I took it all. I took 100 percent of it right on the chin. Nobody does that. Everybody denies it."

"I got divorced and lost a kid I adopted because of it," Jesse James added. "Whether that's fair, whether I should have lost a kid due to infidelity, which I don't think anybody ever does."

Sandra Bullock's ex husband added, "The painful part was about Louis, who we adopted."

"As bad as stuff was between us, we adopted a kid and things got kind of good for a little while and we had that kid to focus on, and, boom, it was over in 24 hours - gone, done," he added.

Jesse James and Sandra Bullock got divorced in 2010 after reports of his cheating emerged.

For her part, Sandra Bullock also weighed in on the divorce in an interview with Vogue magazine to promote "Gravity."

"We're all where we're supposed to be," she said. "I am exactly where I want to be now. You can't go backward. I'm not going backward. I'm grateful that I'm here, blessed to have what I have. Nobody can be prepared for anything."

Sandra Bullock also proved that she's not averse to marrying again or having more kids.

"If all of a sudden someone said, 'You have five more kids,' I'd be totally OK with it," she told Vogue. "I'm having such an amazing time. Whatever comes our way, we handle as a family. It's not just me anymore."
