Infinite's Sung Yeol's Fans Prank On Comedian Kim Ki Yul

The fans of Sung Yeol of the Korean boy band Infinite played an April fool's joke on comedian Kim Ki Yul.

On April 7 Kim Ki Yul was doing a show at the KBS Gag Concert when he began to rant about a practical joke fans of Sung Yeol played on him. Fans contacted Kim Ki Yul telling him they started a new fan café webpage for him.

When Kim Ki Yul checked out the page he was impressed with how pretty the page was. On closer examination Kim Ki Yul realized the page was not for him.

While on stage at the KBS Gag Concert Kim Ki Yul said, "But when I actually went into the site, the real owner of the fan cafe turned out to be Infinte's Sung Yeol! Sung Yeol fans changed the front page for April Fool's Day! Isn't the joke a little too much? Just because Sung Yeol and I both share the 'yeol/yul' in our names, was I easy to prank? Why me?"

The audience at the comedy show was busting out in laughter. They were not sure if Kim Ki Yul's rant was part of the skit or if he was actually angry about the web page swap.

Kim Ki Yul kept the rant going when he posted on Twitter saying, "Who knew everything on site's main page would completely change. I thought it was a virus' - Am I a virus?"

Kim Ki Yul ended his skit saying he does have his own fan page but fans have not left comments on it for about 6 months.

To make the comedian feel better Sung Yeol went on Twitter and posted, Sung Yeol tweeted, "Inspirit, Ki Yul hyung, I love you!! I was so surprised while watching Gag Concert.... Kekeke. I Love you!! Hyungnim, you are number one most searched!"
