A Stabbing At A Houston-Area Community College Injures 14 Causing 12 To Be Hospitalized: One Alleged Stabber At Lone Star In Cypress Has Been Arrested While Another One Is Still Out There

It wasn't a school shooting Tuesday. This time it was a mass-stabbing in Houston at a community college, which injured 14, but no deaths have been reported.

Sheriff officials told Fox News that one person has been arrested and another remains at large after an alleged stabbing attack at Lone Star Community College in the Houston-area campus that left 14 people injured, including 12 that required hospitalization.

Lone Star community college's campus is in Cypress, Texas and the school posted an alert on its website just before 12 p.m. warning students of two armed suspects and saying one person remains at large. The alert warned people to seek shelter in a secure location, according to Fox News.

Alan Bernstein of the Harris County Sheriff's Office notified the news station that authorities have one suspect in custody.

It was in January that another Lone Star campus that was the site of another shooting. During that day, two were wounded and a 22-year-old man was charged with aggravated assault.

The story is still developing, as 12 people are hospitalized and one of the alleged stabbers has been arrested, while another one has not been caught, yet.

No names or ages have been released yet.
