Lindsay Lohan Skips Court Deposition To Chow Down On Some Sushi

Instead of showing up to her deposition Monday night, troubled actress Lindsay Lohan skipped court in favor of enjoying some sushi at Mure Fish bar on Mercer Street, NYC.

Lindsay Lohan was expected to show up for a deposition in the lawsuit filed against her by paparazzo Grigor Balyan. The photographer is claiming that Lindsay Lohan's assistant hit him with Lohan's car, running over his foot in 2010.

Balyan is claiming that while taking photographs of Lindsay Lohan in the car the "Mean Girls" star directed the driver toward Balyan. Lohan's response to the allegation, according to Yahoo News states that Balyan "carelessly put himself near a moving automobile and caused his own injuries."

According to TMZ the actress did not give any notice when she skipped her deposition. The website also claims that Lohan's lawyer has not been able to get in touch with her for over a week.

Balyan's lawyers were furious when Lohan skipped the deposition. They are demanding the judge order Lohan to appear reschedule another deposition.

TMZ is also reporting that if Lindsay Lohan skips another deposition the judge could rule in favor of Balyan and order Lohan to pay him a large sum in damages.

Lohan is facing a cornucopia of other legal problems including a mandatory 90-day rehab stint starting May 2. Lohan pled no contest to a misdemeanor case surrounding her June 2012 California car crash. As a result she was sentenced to 90-days in rehab.
