Jay Park’s Unique Work Experience ‘I Worked At A Tire Shop’

Jay Park shared a unique work experience not a lot other celebrities have on their resumes.

He worked at a tire shop.

In an episode of tvN 'Taxi Show' Jay Park talked about his post-2PM life after he quit the group, the biggest surprise of which was his stint at a tire center.

After leaving 2PM, he said that he spent a lot of time with family and old friends, entering B-boy competitions and doing things he had not been able to for a long time.

And to make a living and be financially independent, he got a job at a tire shop. Then, as he was going about his business, his short video clip about his whereabouts created a lot of buzz online and prompted him to make a comeback and do what he loved.

Jay Park's rendition of 'Nothing On You' with his sweet voice caught the attention of American record labels as well as Korean ones. Because he kept music close at his heart, he was eventually able to return, he added.

With his successful return to K-pop, he said that he has been able to purchase a condominium for his parents and invite his family back to Korea. Kim Gura quipped, "Seul Ki lives alone so visit her sometime and make some kimchi soup for her."
