Tracy Morgan Shows No Sign Of Injury As 'SNL' Star Returns In Front Of The Camera

"SNL" alum Tracy Morgan shed off any sign of his injury as he returns on stage following the nearly fatal road mishap that also killed his friend at the New Jersey Turnpike in the middle of last year.

A photo of Tracy Morgan on the set of "Fist Fight" in Atlanta, Georgia was published on People and it's the first movie that he accepted since the long recovery from the injury he sustained from the deadly road incident.

"The comedy Fist Fight will feature Morgan, 46, as a high school staff member alongside Charlie Day as an English teacher who accidentally crosses a colleague played by Ice Cube. The rapper's menacing character subsequently challenges Day's mild-mannered Andy to a schoolyard brawl," it said.

The photo showed the "SNL" alum looking very healthy as Tracy Morgan wore a coach's uniform with a whistle around his neck while filming a scene. He also appeared to have a very good time as he was beaming in the photo.

"This time a year ago," noted Daily Mail. "The SNL alum was not expected to ever be able to walk unassisted again and it was not known if he would ever recover from the brain injury caused when a truck ploughed into his limo in New Jersey."

Tracy Morgan has filed, and won, a lawsuit against Wal-Mart from the injury he sustained after the New Jersey turnpike car crash in the middle of last year. The retail giant already settled the civil suit filed by the family of James McNair, the comedian who died from the collision.

The amount paid by Wal-Mart, however, was undisclosed but the family released a statement saying they are happy with the outcome of the case.

Talking to Matt Lauer of Today, Tracy Morgan said the recovery process from the injury was very hard and he thought of giving up so many times.

"There are times where I have my good day and my bad days, where I forget things," the "SNL" alum said. "There are times where I get the headaches, and the nose bleeds. I won't even let my lady know because I don't want her to be worried about it."
