Bruno Mars' Sisters To Star In Own Reality T.V. Show As They Produce Debut Album [VIDEO]

The sisters of Bruno Mars will star in a reality series this fall. His four sisters of Grammy-winning singer will star in a new series that will document their journey from Hawaii to L.A. and the recording process of their debut album, WEtv announced Friday.

WEtv is planning eight hour-long episodes following Tiara, Tahiti and Presley Hernandez who are moving to L.A. where their older sister, Jamie lives. The sisters perform under the group name "The Lylas."

"The Lylas are fierce, independent women, leaving their home -- and in some cases their relationships and kids -- for a chance at pursuing their love of music," Lauren Gellert, WEtv's senior vice president of production and development, said in a statement. "Their story is one filled with all of the drama and chaos that comes from making a major life change, with the added spice of doing it alongside your sisters."

The show will chart the sisters' path from Hawaii to Los Angeles -- where they are living and working together on their debut album -- and their dynamic relationship as sisters-turned-business partners, the network said in a synopsis.

When Bruno Mars graduated from high school, he moved in with Jamie as well.

Bruno, who was born Peter Hernandez, moved from Hawaii to live with Jamie in Los Angeles in 2002 after he graduated from high school. Mars wrote, produced and performed in a band before becoming the pop-star he has become today. In 2010, Mars received mainstream attention with his feature on B.O.B.'s "Nothing on You."

Mars then released his platinum-selling debut," Doo-Wops & Hooligans" in 2010. Some of his hits include "Locked Out of Heaven," "Just The Way You Are" and "Grenade."
