Former Topp Dogg Member Gohn Sends Well Wishes To Fans As His Enlistment Begins

Earlier this month Hunus Entertainment (formerly Stardom Entertainment) announced the departure of Topp Dogg members Kidoh and Gohn from the group just days before their comeback. While Kidoh (Jin Hyosang) was revealed to be focusing on other aspects of music and considering studying abroad, it was announced that member Gohn (Kim Dongsung) would be enlisting into the army.

On Oct. 18, Gohn spoke up himself to address the fans on his enlistment. "My lovely ToppKlass," Gohn began on a note posted via Topp Dogg's official Twitter addressing the group's fans. The note continued, as translated by AllKpop, "I'm sorry that the first news I bring in a while is of me leaving. You guys are doing okay, right?"

"I'm really sorry and disappointed myself that even though you showed me love I didn't deserve, I chose to enlist in the army instead of standing on the [Topp Dogg] comeback stage," he continued. "However, I'll work hard and grow even more after I enlist so I can comeback with more mature music."

As his note was shared before Topp Dogg's official comeback, Gohn also asked fans to show their love to the upcoming EP and shared that it was filled with good music.

"My lovely members! I'm so thankful and also so sorry. I'm cheering you on," Gohn added. He ended his note with thanks to the fans, the members, the CEO, and even wished Topp Dogg's P-Goon a happy birthday.

While the Topp Dogg members work hard on their return performances, fans hope Gohn works hard and does well during his mandatory military enlistment as well.
