Katie Holmes took her mini-me Suri Cruise to Central Park recently for a skate date. The "All We Had" actress seemed be doing well despite news and rumors that Tom Cruise was not caving in to her demands for more child support to have enough financial source for Suri's needs that included skating lessons.

According to a report on Mail Online, the "All We Had" actress and her daughter looked identical as they strolled Central Park in New York to ride a carousel and skate as well. Suri was joined by a friend. As mentioned in the report, Suri seemed to be having a blast as she confidently navigated the ice as her mom watched on.

It was not clear what pushed the mom and daughter duo to skate in Central Park. But news and rumors circulated recently that that Katie Holmes has apparently been having a hard time tending to all the needs of Tom Cruise daughter, Suri Cruise.

"Lately Katie's been acting in low-budget films that don't tend to pay as well, so she's resolved to get Tom to pay more towards Suri's upkeep," an insider told Grazia magazine as quoted by the Belfast Telegraph.

A Hollywood Life source pointed out that the demands in Suri's life will continue to increase as she's getting older.

"There's also the fact that Suri is getting older and needs more money to travel back and forth across the country with Katie, as well as for her dance, skating and music lessons, new clothes, arts and crafts, and tutors," an insider told the source above. Katie's preparing for a courtroom showdown to make sure she gets the money she needs."

Despite the rumors, Katie Holmes has expressed in the past in the news that apart from the lavish lifestyle attached to being a celebrity, she wanted to give Suri Cruise a normal life.

"I think, of course, you try your best," the "All We Had" actress said on the "Today Show" last year as cited by Entertainment Tonight. "I try very hard because I am very grateful for my upbringing and my parents and siblings. I try to do what they did for me for my little one."
