MacBook Pro 2016 Release Date Expected In Spring? Older Models Get $800 Discount

A new Macbook Pro 2016 is being eyed by techies and a potential release date is rumored to come early next year, as Apple is reportedly setting the end of the year for the new iPad releases.

However, a report from Christian Today is saying that Apple may go ahead of everyone and reveal the much-anticipated laptop alongside the new Macbook Air before the year ends.

In addition to that, Yibada also pointed out that the previous models have been given a hefty $800 discount that could signify the forthcoming release date of the MacBook Pro 2016.

According to the site, Adorama and AppleInsider are already rolling out the biggest deals for MacBook users, as they are reportedly giving their readers $300 to $600 price slash on the 2015 models and up to $800 on 2014 models.

Other websites are also giving out big discounts for the older models.

In addition to that, the sites are also giving away freebies such as three years worth of Apple Care protection, an LG super drive and other accessories, among others.

Another report from Christian Post, meanwhile, are pointing out to an early 2016 release date for the new MacBook Pro and Airs, citing how the decline in sales for the new computers were seen to be a sign for Apple to push to a release for next year.

"Some are speculating that the decline in sales have affected the tech company's decision to release more gadgets before the end of the year in a possible move to cut down costs," a report from MNR Daily stated.

Furthermore, the new 2016 MacBook Pro, even though the release date is still unknown, is expected to have the 13-inch and 15-inch variants, a type-C USB port, improved Force Touch trackpad installed with the recently introduced OS X El Kapitan.
