The Foo Fighters are enjoying the year with their continued success including the highly acclaimed new album "Sonic Highways" and the on-going tour.
Furthermore, singer Dave Grohl also announced that a second season for "Sonic Highways" would come out soon but fans are thinking that it wouldn't be a new album release but could possibly be a documentary of their tour.
In a recent report by Loud Wire, the rock band recently revealed a countdown in their official website that left a lot of fans wondering as to what it could possibly mean.
Fans expect a big announcement from the group come Nov. 22, four days after they conclude their tour in Barcelona, Spain.
NME, however, pointed out possibilities of what the countdown could possibly mean.
According to a blog post, the "big announcement" could only possibly mean a new album, the announcement of "Sonic Highways 2," an extend tour along Route 66, an Asian tour, return to Glastonbury, Dave being excited about Fibonacci day or the day the singer removes his cast.
Meanwhile, a recent report from Consequence Of Sound revealed that Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl announced the comeback of "Sonic Highways" for a second season, but hasn't talked into detail about it yet.
He however revealed that the possibility of creating a new album in international soil could be possible.
"It might or might not be international," the Foo Fighters singer talked about the possibilities for "Sonic Highways" season 2. "It might someday be international. It might only be England, or be England and other places, or maybe it's places in America and people from other countries that are inspired by these places in America."
"I mean of all places in the world, England and the UK just seems like it would be like shooting fish in a barrel, ya know? There's just so f-cking much here."
