iPad Mini 4 Vs. Samsung Galaxy Tab S2: Tech Specs And Features Compared!

The newest iPad Mini 4 has been recently introduced by Apple and experts say that it could go a close battle against the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 in a head to head match up.

A report from PC Mag Asia revealed what the two tablets could contribute using their tech specs.

According to the site, the iPad Mini 4 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 were listed side by side and has the following features.

Starting off with their dimensions, the Apple tablet has a 7.9-inch screen on an 8-inch frame, 5.3-inch width and 0.24-inch thickness. On the other hand, the Samsung tablet has a slightly bigger 8-inch screen with a 5.3-inch width and a slightly thinner 0.22-inch thickness.

As for the resolutions of both gadgets, the two devices display 2,048 x 1,536 of pixels.

With almost the same dimensions from the outside, what differs the two is from the inside.

The iPad Mini 4 runs on Apple's A8 chip, running on the latest iOS 9.1 operating system and displays graphics with 326 ppi with Retina display.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 runs on a Samsung Exynos CPU equipped with the latest Android 5.0, that displays 320 ppi for the graphics with a Super AMOLED screen.

For the cameras, Neurogadget gave an in-depth comparison showcasing how both the Apple iPad Mini 4 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 have an 8-megapixel rear camera but still lacking an LED flash.

The difference, however, could be seen in the video quality, as the Apple device could only shoot videos of 1080p at 30fps, while the Samsung gadget could record at 1440p videos at 30fps.

For the front camera, the California-designed gadget only has a 1.2-megapixel lens that has the usual face detection, HDR and FaceTime over Wi-Fi or Cellular features, while the Korean-made gadget has a 2.1-megapixel sensor.
