Coldplay To Release New Album By December And Tour For Two Years?

The new album from Coldplay is slated to come out this year and the band is also expected to tour after and promote not only their upcoming release, but also their 2014 record "Ghost Stories."

In an article posted by Sky News, the forthcoming studio effort from Coldplay will be called "A Head Full Of Dreams."

Furthermore, an unnamed source went up to the said website and claimed how the band is done with recording and that they are all set to get the album out in the market ASAP.

"The album is almost finished and the band are keen to get it out as soon as possible," the unnamed source reportedly said.

After Coldplay releases their new album, it has been said that the band would go on the road and promote their two records for 2016 and 2017 since the band jumped to recording the next release after they introduced "Ghost Stories" in 2014.

As to what should be expected from Coldplay, band singer Chris Martin said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that their new album could be their last after the vocalist compared their records to the "Harry Potter" book series.

He claimed how the book ended on seven parts and how they would release their seventh studio effort.

"It's our seventh thing, and the way we look at it, it's like the last 'Harry Potter' book or something like that," Martin explained. "Not to say that there might not be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something. I have to think of it as the final thing we're doing. Otherwise we wouldn't put everything into it."

The release date of the new album "A Head Full Of Dreams" from Coldplay hasn't been officially announced but experts say that they expect the release to come before the year ends.
