For someone who has not been seen in several weeks, "The Walking Dead" veteran actor Steven Yeun has become the center of speculation and attention.
Recently, "The Walking Dead" showcased what appeared to be Steven Yeun's on-screen death, and his name was also taken off of credits in a mysterious fashion. Without appearing on "Talking Dead" to confirm Glenn's death, fans have been scouring for any signs of Yeun, including through his alleged girlfriend Joana Pak.
A professional photography, Joana Pak has long been speculated to be Yeun's girlfriend. Not only is he featured on her homepage, he is frequently her subject in her photography collection.
Sadly, Pak's Instagram account does show any recent signs of Yeun since his last appearance on "The Walking Dead" two weeks ago. Yeun's social media accounts have been dormant as well.
Of course, this could all be intentional in order to sustain the cliffhanger that has been in the air regarding Glenn's ultimate fate, something executive producer Scott M. Gimple says will be resolved within the first half of Season 6.
"I definitely want viewers to have an emotional experience either way," said Gimple to TVLine.
"There are twists and turns, and bad things happen. Ultimately, it's all part of a bigger story. I hope that the audience will just wait to see the greater story and see how it all plays out. They're kind of stopping in the middle of the movie, which they have to because there's a week between the reels. But we're still in the middle of the movie."
But don't expect Steven Yeun's "Walking Dead" partner Maggie to take this lying down. Their on-screen chemistry is so strong that some have speculated Lauren Cohan to be Yeun's real-life girlfriend.
"There are entire websites dedicated to the proof that Steven and I are in a real relationship," said Cohen according to Wet Paint. "Which is always funny, because it's not."
