Vampire Diaries Season 7 Rumors: Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder's ex-girlfriend and ex-co-star on The Vampire Diaries is reportedly returning to the show for season 7 and reports are coming in that Somerhalder and Nikki Reed's relationship is headed for trouble.
Youth Health Magazine reported that the "Twilight" star and the "Vampire Diaries" star's relations is at a breaking point as the couple argue over Dobrev's involvement on TVD and Somerhalder's desire to have children.
Most fans love the idea that Dobrev would return to the hit series, however briefly since Paul Wesley, who plays Stefan Salvatore leaked the news to TV Insider.
"Elena's still a very big part of the story, her body's in danger in the first few episodes, and Damon is doing everything he can to make sure it stays safe if and when she wakes up. We all had imagined this complete reboot where Elena was gone, but she's talked about so much," Wesley told TV insider.
According to most reports, Dobrev is happy with her new boyfriend, Austin Stowell, even if it took a while to made their relationship official on Twitter.
"That weird moment when you realize you don't follow your girlfriend on Twitter," Stowell tweeted.
The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 is sure to have a cameo sequence for Nina Dobrev's character Elena Gilbert. Nikki Reed is reportedly insecure about Nina Dobrev and has reportedly been nagging Somerhalder to stop working on the TVD.
"Nikki is ambitious and worries about derailing her career if she gets pregnant now," an onlooker revealed to OK Magazine.
Nina Dobrev announced she will be leaving "The Vampire Diaries" a few months ago on Instagram.
"I always knew I wanted Elena's story to be a six season adventure, and within those six years I got the journey of a lifetime," Dobrev wrote.
"I was a human, a vampire, a doppelganger, a crazy immortal, a doppelganger pretending to be human, a human pretending to be a doppelganger. I got kidnapped, killed, resurrected, tortured, cursed, body-snatched, was dead and undead, and there's still so much more to come before the season finale in May."
But internet fans believe Dobrev decided to leave the show because of Somerhalder's marriage to Reed.
Since leaving "The Vampire Diaries," Dobrev working on "The Final Girls," a parody on horror movies and "Arrivals."
