Coldplay Expected To Release New Album This Year; Single From ‘A Head Full Of Dreams’ Here

Coldplay's new album "A Head Full Of Dreams" is almost complete and near its release date and the band introduced themselves back in the scene by releasing a brand new single.

After revealing a mysterious artwork a few days ago, Forbes revealed that Coldplay finally announced their new album's release date, which will be a follow up to "Ghost Stories" alongside a brand new single.

According to the report, "A Head Full Of Dreams" would hit the shelves on Dec. 4 while the first song that was announced, "Adventures Of A Lifetime," is now available for download and streaming.

The first single off of the new Coldplay album could be streamed via Spotify and could be downloaded on iTunes.

Meanwhile, Daily Mail recently reported the new Coldplay album and had a few words with singer Chris Martin, who described the release as a "happy and free" sound.

"It's the sound of us being free and happy and very grateful to be in our group," he said.

Furthermore, Martin also talked about the new album as compared to their 2014 release "Ghost Stories."

He stated how they got the name of the record and how different the sound will be as compared to their sixth studio effort.

"I think we had a really clear idea of where we wanted to get to with this thing called 'A Head Full of Dreams,'" he said. "We always wanted it to come out before the end of this year and it gradually moved later and later throughout the year but we just didn't want to give up on that."

In the same interview, the Coldplay singer also revealed that a tour shall be expected from them as early as January, as they are set to promote the two records.

"The last album [Ghost Stories] was a more intimate and quiet kind of album but I think we'd like to go on tour quite soon, so maybe early next year."
