Gravity Falls Season 3 Crossover With Rick and Morty Teased; Why Would a Pop-Tart Want To Live Inside A Toaster?

Gravity Falls Season 3 Spoilers and Rumors: Fans of Gravity Falls and Rick And Morty have been noticing a certain blend that has been creeping into the two shows. There is a theory that the two universes are related and fans have noticed direct references between the two shows. New reports say that there is a chance that "Rick and Morty" and "Gravity Falls" are set in the same universe.

There will be a possible crossover of "Rick and Morty" and "Gravity Falls".

"Our motivation for that is primarily to freak people out and blow their minds. The impression of a grand brilliant design is probably more something that the fans have invented," Alex Hirsh said.

Alex Hirsh, the creator of "Gravity Falls" and the voice and creator for the Adult Swim series "Rick and Morty," is having the time of his life. Hirsch guest-starred as Toby Matthews in Rick and Morty's "Big Trouble In Little Sanchez"

"There was a time when Justin and I were both working in the same tiny office for the Disney Channel," Hirsh told Entertainment Weekly.

"We both dreamed one day of having our own weird TV shows, and we would talk about ways in which we should childishly abuse this power."

"For some reason, the universe has blessed us with our mad wishes, and it occurred to us - let's start doing things that nobody else does, that maybe you're not supposed to do. We started putting little easter eggs in our shows that sort of connected the two. Our motivation for that is primary to freak people out and blow their minds. The impression of a grand brilliant design is probably more something that the fans have invented," Hirsch said.

"Rick and Morty" Season 3 screenwriter Dan Harmon recently told The Hollywood Reporter that he will lighten up about repeating himself, because when the jokes work, they work.

"I'm excited about revisiting stuff in season 3 because I was so phobic about revisiting stuff in season 2," Harmon told ET.

"Now, we can fade in on Blips and Chitz because we've already proven that the show isn't going to start eating itself, and that will feel even more limitless if we go back to a couple things that we really enjoyed doing.

Justin Roiland is the voice behind Rick and Morty as well as Blendin Blandin and Bobby Renzobb on Hirsch's Gravity Falls and Lemongrab in Adventure Time.

Harmon explained that Beth Smith is the one responsible for the quirky adventures of Rick and Morty. He said, "Why would that be the case? Why would any parents let this crazy man disappear through clearly dangerous portals with their son?" And after talking about it with Justin for a while, I realised the most important thing about that show for me, which is that Rick left at one point in Beth's childhood and Beth blamed her mother for Rick's absence."

The premiere date of "Rick and Morty" Season 3 has not yet been officially announced. The show is predicted to make its return on the small screen around March 2017.
