CeeLo Green has a new album on its way and fans believe that it could potentially be the start of the artist's road to having Gnarls Barkley back in the scene as well.
In a report by Fayobserver, the new album from CeeLo Green, which is entitled "Heart Blanche," is just a "prequel" to a whole new side of the artist, as new music is expected to come out from him soon.
"This album is a prequel to the rest of the music I want to release in the very near future," Green said. "(It's) the start of a new beginning."
In a report by New Zealand Herald, CeeLo recently had a one-on-one interview with the Associated Press, wherein he revealed more details about his new album.
Getting busy on his schedule with "The Voice," the former judge revealed how different this release was as compared to his previous releases after Gnarls Barkley.
"It's always personal to some degree, but much more introspective this time around - more introspective than I've been able to be, had the opportunity of being, the pleasure of being, over the last five years professionally," he said. "The last time I did it to this degree was under the alias Gnarls Barkley."
Fans are now excited to hear more of CeeLo Green in the future especially how he hinted that he might come back with Danger Mouse to continue with their work together.
In a report by NME, Green previously talked with his partner and revealed plans for their potential next release.
"I just talked to Danger Mouse last night," CeeLo Green said of the new Gnarls Barkley album. "I told him, 'This is the next thing we should do.' I know he's about to do the Red Hot Chili Peppers' album. I hope he does great with that, but I said, 'Hey, I need you to be able to split your attention. We need another Gnarls album and so do the people.'"
