YG Entertainment President Yang Hyun Suk may be busy these days with filming for the next season of "K-Pop Star" but it looks like he's still got his eyes on everything going on with his many artists.
In particular, it seems that he's especially happy with how things are looking for the upcoming singles from iKON.
In a recent phone interview, YG Entertainment president Yang Hyun Suk revealed that he is very pleased with iKON's upcoming double digital single release. Specifically, he expressed that he was pleased with their collaboration with in-house producer Teddy, and believes that fans will enjoy the song even more than warm-up single "My Type."
"Teddy participated in making the two singles that iKON will be releasing soon. I think they are better than 'My Type'. I am satisfied with the music that Teddy and iKON produced together," said Yang (via YG-Life blog).
iKON's upcoming digital singles are entitled "Anthem" and "Apology." "Apology" features all of the members of iKON while "Anthem" will feature group members Bobby and B.I. Last week, a poster was released featuring the lyrics to "Anthem," which were written by B.I and Bobby.
Meanwhile, "Apology" features lyrics by Teddy, Kush, B.I, and Bobby. Overall, iKON's upcoming double digital single release will feature excellent collaboration between iKON and veteran rapper and producer Teddy.
iKON will release "Apology" and "Anthem" on Nov. 16. The group will then release the remaining half of their debut album on Dec. 14.
