Jennifer Lawrence has admitted that dating has been a difficult for her despite rumors of her being linked to Coldplay's Chris Martin and "Mockingjay Part 2" co-star, Liam Hemsworth. The Oscar-winning actress also opened up about ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult who has been recently linked with his "Equals" co-star, Kristen Stewart.
In an interview with Dianne Sawyer for ABC's "Nightline," the "Mockingjay Part 2" actress said she had a hard time when the movie franchise filming ended as it coincided with her breakup from Hoult.
"I was also in a relationship with somebody for five years and that was my life," the Oscar-winning actress admitted as quoted by Extra TV. "So my life was this person and these movies and we broke up around the same time that I wrapped those movies."
She said the simultaneous ends of the relationship and the movies made her question her identity for a while.
"Being 24 was this whole year of, 'Who am I without these movies? Who am I without this man?'"
Now though, it seemingly appeared that the actress has moved on from the heartbreak.
"I don't feel that I need anything to complete me," the "Mockingjay Part 2" actress said when asked about settling down someday as cited by Us Weekly.
But she also admitted to Vogue that dating has been a challenge for her lately.
"No one ever asks me out," she shared. "Guys are so mean to me. I know where it's coming from, I know they're trying to establish dominance, but it hurts my feelings. I'm just a girl who wants you to be nice to me."
Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult dated after working together in "X-Men: First Class" according to Teen. They apparently broke up in 2014 and the Hank McCoy actor was linked to his "Equals" co-star Kristen Stewart early this year.
Just like the Oscar-winning actress, the "Equals" actor also recently spilled about their breakup and even shared that the "Twilight" actress and their movie helped him get over it the heartbreak.
"It was nice to feel so isolated from everything, from our lives," Nicholas Hoult told The Daily Beast about working with Kristen Stewart after breaking up with Jennifer Lawrence. "It's often the way we are on location, but particularly in this movie it was very intimate, and a nice environment to be in."
