New Album From Drake ‘Views From The 6’ To Be Released On Jan. 6

Drake is almost ready to release his new album "Views From The 6" as rumors state that the new record could potentially come out on Jan. 6 of next year.

According to a report from IB Times, the teaser for the new Drake album came out on Twitter, where a short video showed the famous owl logo with the text "The 6 is watching" stated before the video ended with "release date 6 January 2016."

Although there are no confirmations from the rapper himself, the teaser released by Daily Rap is still to be confirmed and that the video appeared like it has been removed.

As to what fans should expect from the sound of the new Drake album, Billboard recently reported that the "Hotline Bling" singer would feature a "big step up" with his sound, citing the record to be "epic."

"Drake is reportedly switching up his sound for this album, but a source close to the 'epic' project says he has nonetheless been working with his usual circle of producers, including Noah '40' Shebib, Boi-1da and Omen, in Toronto, and taking 'a lot of fuel' from his recent beef with Meek Mill," the site reported.

Meanwhile, it has also been revealed by an unnamed source in another Billboard interview what other songs could be heard from the record.

According to the report, an unnamed source reportedly claimed that "Views From The 6" may potentially include another Meek Mills diss track, pointing out how Drake and Mills have been dissing each other over the past few months.

"After a point you realize that it's not even worth it so at this moment that song is in the archive," an unnamed source reportedly said.

"I don't know if it will ever be released but I don't see him dropping that joint anytime soon and it's very dope. I can confidently say that it would end Meek for good. There would be no coming back if this track had gotten out."
