After the tragic events that transpired in Paris and other parts of the world, Deftones revealed that they have cancelled the rest of their European shows to pay respects to the victims of the Paris attacks.
According to a report from Blabbermouth, Deftones were scheduled to play at the same venue where the attacks happened on Nov. 15 and 16.
In addition to that, some of the members were noted to be at the Eagles Of Death Metal show in the same night.
In a Billboard report, singer Chino Moreno talked about how the members of the band managed to leave early in the Eagles of Death Metal show before the terrorist attacks transpired.
"A couple of band members, they went to the concert, but they left early," Moreno said. "After the first few songs they ended up leaving the venue. They got out of there and all of our band and crew are safe and accounted for at the hotel now. So, we are just here, we're pretty much on lockdown."
According to an official statement from the band, Deftones expressed their sympathies and heart felt sympathies toward the victims of the Paris attacks.
"We have been to Paris many, many times, and we've had some of the most amazing shows in this tremendously electric city," the official statement said from their Facebook page said.
"With this being said, and with our deepest condolences, love and respect to everyone affected, and to all of us who share this planet, we must return home to our loved ones. We will return when appropriate."

Meanwhile, Deftones are also reportedly working on their new album and that the band may release the follow up to "Koi No Yokan" on early 2016.
