Eminem New Record: Shady Records And Eminem Release New Mobile Game ‘Shady Wars’; Rihanna Calls Collaborator Eminem One Of The All-Time Great Rappers

Eminem New Record: Eminem and Shady Records released the new mobile game "Shady Wars." Two-time Eminem collaborator Rihanna called Slim Shady one of the greatest rappers of all time.

Eminem and Rihanna worked together on "Love The Way You Lie" which was a big hit in 2010. Riri sat in the hypnotist chair for their 2013 reunion hit "The Monster."

"He's one of my favorite people," Rihanna told Vanity Fair in a recent interview.

"He's got so many layers and he's such a good person-focused, disciplined. I mean you can't tell me that you have to be in the club when Eminem is legit at home and being a good father and is still one of the most prestigious rappers of our generation. He's one of the most talented poets of our time."

Rihanna recently released the cover art for her upcoming album "Anti." The 27-year-old Barbadian beauty told Vanity Fair about working with Eminem on "Love the Way You Lie."

"It was such a brilliant moment to have him ask me to be part of a record; I felt... anointed, because he thought I was cool enough to be on 'Love the Way You Lie'," Rihanna said.

"But also, the lyrics [about a dysfunctional relationship] were just so true to what I felt and couldn't say to the world at that time" (via UrbanIslandz).

Eminem and Shady Records partnered with Music Powered Games to release the new mobile game Shady Wars, which is available now for iOS and Android at https://shady.sr/ShadyWars.

The game delivers a combination of rhythm and arcade gameplay powered by Shady Records' music, including Eminem's "Phenomenal" and "Kings Never Die" from the soundtrack to the movie Southpaw, which was executive produced by the superstar artist.

"This is a new, fun, and potentially addictive way for fans to interact with and experience music from our label," Paul Rosenberg, Shady Records CEO and co-founder of Shady Wars said in a statement.

Releasing a freemium game rewards millions of Eminem fans with a cool new way to experience Shady music. The game also hosts a combination of in-game ads and in-app purchases. Eminem's legions of fans are already playing the game and sharing their reward stats on Twitter, which is driving downloads of Shady Wars and introducing Shady music to hosts of potential new fans.

Gamezbo.com calls Shady Wars, "an authentic pairing of famous personality branding with gameplay. Unlike many other celebrity games which simply reskin an existing engine to shoehorn in a celebrity, Shady Wars actually unites music, image, and character in a way that does seem to fit Eminem's brand."

MTV News has called Shady Wars "frustratingly addicting" and "fun to play," which was precisely Shady Records and Music Powered Games' intention. As demonstrated by the craze over games like Flappy Bird and Crossy Road, challenging games become very addictive when they employ simple gameplay that also produces an ebb and flow of frustration and exhilaration.
