Papa Roach Planning A Quick New Album Release Next Year After ‘FEAR’ Record?

Within the year that Papa Roach released "F.E.A.R.," rumors of a new album rise, as the group revealed their intentions to put out more songs in the near future.

According to a report from Blabbermouth, guitarist Jerry Horton talked about the band's current plans, which includes the tour to promote the previous record and the thought of writing more songs in the process toward a new Papa Roach album.

"It's really kind of up in the air," Horton talked about the future for Papa Roach including new album plans. "We talked about taking a break for a while, but also writing. But at the same time, there might be a couple of tours that we wanna do. So we're really kind of seeing how everything is gonna pan out, just because we don't wanna commit to any one thing just quite yet."

He continued how the band has ideas floating around for a new album for Papa Roach and how they have a few demos lined up for the new tracks.

"We don't have [completed] songs [at this point], but there's always ideas floating around," he said. "There's riffs and stuff recorded already, but Jacoby [Shaddix, vocalist] hasn't dug in yet. So it's just kind of music at this point."

Aside from new album talks from Papa Roach, singer Jacoby Shaddix revealed in an interview posted by Loud Wire how he thinks that their recently released record was one of the most solid record they have released.

"[F.E.A.R. is] the sickest, most illest P-Roach record to date," Shaddix said. "It's fiery. It's like I'm holding a light orb in my hand and when I put it to the sky, I take off like a superhero if that makes any sense. It's for real."

With no official words until now, the new album from Papa Roach is expected in 2016 or 2017.
