HBO's "Westworld" trailer has been rumored to be set for a second release.
This comes after the initial trailer released months ago where it showed the cast members Evan Rachel Wood, Anthony Hopkins and more, for the upcoming TV series.
In an article released by The Hollywood Reporter, it was revealed that the upcoming series is actually based on the film that was released in 1973 and was brought by Michael Crichton. The source further quoted a statement that was previously released by the company's programming president, Michael Lombardo, during the summer press tour of the Television Critics Association.
"[With] the film you were very invested in one particular group of humans that were enjoying the park and their experience with the robots," he teased. "This is not that. This is very much told from the POV of the robots."
"The corporate world's as dimensionalized as the park," he added. "And I think the visitors to the park are really not the primary focus of our show at all. So again, without giving more than that away, I think all I can say is only one character that you saw in the clip is a visitor to the park."
"And yeah, it resembles the film in name and in spirit and but really is, I think, otherwise not much of a reference point," Michael concluded about HBO's upcoming series, "Westworld."
Since then, rumors about a second trailer for the series has been hyped up by fans. According to them, they need to see more of the series. They said one trailer is not enough for the possible hit that the show might produce.
To add to the news, Variety has revealed the rest of the cast members confirmed for the series, namely, Ed Harris, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Miranda Otto, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Angela Sarafyan and Simon Quarterman.
