Kate Major-Lohan, mother of actress Lindsay Lohan, is back in the news. According to reports, a coast-to-coast flight was diverted to New Orleans to remove actress Lindsay Lohan's stepmother.
Kate Major-Lohan is married to Lindsay Lohan's father.
According to reports, the actress's stepmom was removed from a JetBlue plane on Wednesday. The report was confirmed in an email to the media by Col. John Fortunato, spokesman for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office.
According to FBI spokesman Craig Betzebe, Kate Major-Lohan was arrested on a charge of interfering with flight crew members and attendants.
Wednesday's Flight 101 from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Los Angeles was diverted to New Orleans' Louis Armstrong International Airpor to remove an "unruly customer," according to JetBlue Airways Corp. spokeswoman Sharon Jones. The flight from Fort Lauderdale to Los Angeles to divert and make an emergency landing in New Orleans.
According to reports, this isn't the first time this year that Lindsay Lohan's step mom has tangled with the law. Lindsay Lohan's step mom was arrested for drunkenly attacking Michael Lohan in July.
