MAMA 2015: EXO To Perform Korean Version Of Japan Single 'Drop That'

SM Entertainment's popular boy group EXO will be revealing the Korean version of their song "Drop That" at the upcoming 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards.

On Nov. 30, Mnet revealed the news through the official Facebook page for M!Countdown, their weekly music show. "2015 MAMA|Special stage! EXO is showing the Korean ver. of 'Drop that' for the very first time at 2015 MAMA! We can't wait!!" Mnet's announcement read.

"Drop That" was released alongside "Love Me Right ~Romantic Universe~" the Japanese version of EXO's summer smash hit "Love Me Right." EXO made their Japanese debut with both songs on Nov. 4. The two-track single topped the Oricon's Weekly Chart, Japan's leading music chart system. It also broke records selling around 147,000 copies within the first week of release.

Japanese fans of EXO have already experienced the song not only through the recording but as part of EXO's set during their Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Osaka Dome tours according to My Daily. As the upcoming 2015 MAMA performance marks the world premiere of "Drop That" in Korean, anticipation for the stage runs quite high.

The award show will be held at the Asia World-Expo in Hong Kong on Dec. 2. Fans unable to attend can also watch the show live through online streaming.
