The Corrs is reportedly prepping up for a new album release and their fans are excited to see what the group has in store for their comeback after being out of the scene for almost 10 years.
In a recent report by Malton Mercury, Andrea Corr and the rest of the group talked about their comeback, wherein the singer revealed was something they have been looking forward to for a long time since they have been out of the scene for over a decade already.
"We never sort of decided to stop or quit as a band," Sharon Corr said. "We've had eight children between us in the mean time so that kind of takes up 10 years so I think we were sort of entitled to it after sort of 15 years of being on the road."
She also revealed how the show must go on and that fans should expect more from them real soon.
"But music is part of the fabric of us," she said as the new The Corrs album is being made. "It is absolutely who we are. This is what we do, so it's not really a revelation from that point of view if you know what I mean. This is what we do so we're just doing it."
Meanwhile, Digital Spy also recently revealed that the new The Corrs album is on its way and that the group has recently revealed the new song "Bring On The Night," after they appeared at a BBC Radio 2 guesting.
The song is said to be "a wistful affair with a rousing chorus and flutters of Irish folk music."
More new album news from The Corrs was reported by RTE stating how fellow Irish musician and U2 singer Bono managed to hear the new songs ahead of everyone else.
"He has heard it all," Andrea said. "We're very fortunate to have him as a friend and also in certain ways a bodyguard. I will often go to him with, 'what do you think of this?'. He has been so supportive and really loves the record."
"I'm really happy when it's positive because also I know he'd tell me the truth if he didn't like it, I'd be hearing all about it, so it's a hell of a compliment."
The new album from The Corrs is expected to come out in 2016.
