The release date for "Tekken X Street Fighter" is nowhere to be seen up to now but rumors reveal that the upcoming fighting crossover game may potentially be available to the market by next year.
A recent report by Famitsu confirmed that even though the game hasn't been given a lot of attention lately, game creator Katsuhiro Harada revealed that he is still working on the game with full attention.
According to him, "Tekken X Street Fighter" is in development and a release date could potentially be announced soon.
"I've been saying this since before, but the fact of the matter is that we're at a pretty far stage into its development," Harada said. "It might seem like we haven't started on it at all, but the character lineup has been decided upon since a very long time ago and we've already finished the polygon models, moves, and systems."
In the same report, Harada revealed that he wanted to keep the release date announcements for "Tekken X Street Fighter to be on the down low as much as possible, as he wanted to surprise the fans of the game.
"It's very difficult to talk about," he said. "Obviously, I had originally planned to release it much earlier than we're currently looking at."
He also revealed how he wanted to make things special for the game to give their fans a treat since it was originally expected to come out in the past few years.
"People have been talking about the game for such a long time that they aren't going to be surprised if you just release it normally. I don't know if that's what we have planned, but we do plan to have some kind of surprise."
Without a release date announced until now for "Tekken X Street Fighter," Uber Gizmo confirmed that the game would come out for the PS4, Xbox One, PC and the arcades.
