A new album is expected from the Red Hot Chili Peppers but fans believe that the new disc is set to hit the shelves by next year.
In a recent report by Rolling Stone, singer Anthony Kiedis revealed that they have a few songs lined up for the Red Hot Chili Peppers new album.
In an interview, he revealed how they wanted to play new songs while they go on different appearances, but revealed that they have to contain themselves as to not get the new songs leaked.
"The torture about doing this [show] is that we've been writing new music for the last year, and we've written some songs that I feel are as good as any songs we've ever written. We're just dying to play the new songs - but we can't, because every single human has a recording device on them at all times."
Meanwhile, Loud Wire previously revealed that in addition to the new album news, Red Hot Chili Peppers would also be headlining the 2016 Rock On The Range, as the band would be joined by Megadeth and a few reunion shows from Disturbed and At The Drive In.
Co-executive producers of the festival Gary Spivack revealed what the ROTR has in store for its 10th anniversary.
"Everything has been turned up a notch to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Rock On The Range," said Spivack. "From headliners Red Hot Chili Peppers, to the reunion of fan favorites Disturbed, to the welcomed return of Vinnie Paul and his band Hellyeah to the state of Ohio for the first time in over a decade, and countless others, it's paramount that we continue to raise the bar so Rock On The Range remains the elite rock festival in America. We feel we've accomplished this goal and then some."
The new album from Red Hot Chili Peppers is expected next year.
