Radiohead Set For New Album Release? Record To Come Out Next Year

Radiohead is ready for their new album release and the disc is expected to come out early next year.

According to a report by Consequence Of Sound, guitarist Jonny Greenwood revealed the progress of the new Radiohead album, stating how they are done with recording and are now finishing it up with its final touches.

"We have finished recording of the new album but we keep reevaluating the work we've done," Greenwood said told Russia's Silver Radio on a Reddit report.

"We hope we'll get it right soon, and after that we'll start planning the next year's tour."

Furthermore, he also talked about the new methods they used to create the record in a recent NME interview.

"We've certainly changed our method again," Greenwood said. "It's too involved. We're kind of limiting ourselves; working on limits. So we'll see what happens. It's like we're trying to use very old and very new technology to see what happens."

Meanwhile, with the new Radiohead album coming up, Thom Yorke revealed in an interview with Italy's La Repubblica, which was reported by Fortune his sentiments about Google, who owns YouTube and how he compared the site to the Nazis, citing how the site have been getting moneys from the artists.

"I don't have the solution to these problems," Yorke said. "I only know that they're making money with the work of loads of artists who don't get any benefit from it. People continue to say that this is an era where music is free, cinema is free. It's not true."

"The creators of services make money-Google, YouTube. A huge amount of money, by trawling, like in the sea-they take everything there is. 'Oh, sorry, was that yours? Now it's ours. No, no, we're joking-it's still yours.'"

"They've seized control of it-it's like what the Nazis did during the second world war."

The new album from Radiohead is expected to come out next year.
