Maria Sharapova Distracts Boyfriend Rumor With Charity Event, Grigor Dimitrov Falls Short Again

Maria Sharapova may have a new boyfriend, but she wants her charity work to shine instead. With her charity event with WTA Tennis, Maria Sharapova is certainly outshining her ex boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov in all arenas.

According to WTA Tennis, "Maria Sharapova and a host of other tennis players and celebrities are set to light up Los Angeles this coming weekend at Maria Sharapova & Friends, presented by Porsche."

In the interview, Maria Sharapova said, "It's been a long-term goal of mine to host my own tennis event and bring professional tennis back to Los Angeles. I want to thank my great partner Porsche for believing in this project from the beginning, along with the players, entertainers and sponsors that are supporting Maria Sharapova & Friends. I hope the fans enjoy the highly competitive tennis, comedy and entertainment, and walk away having had a great weekend."

Looks like the Russian beauty isn't letting her petty ex boyfriend drama get to her!

But that also may be because she is infatuated with a new man. According to Daily Mail, "Maria Sharapova appeared unfazed by the rumours as she enjoyed a casual outing with a male friend in New York City on Wednesday evening... The pair were deep in conversation and at one point her friend even reached up to help her sweep a stray strand of hair out of her eyes."

Meanwhile, she has been eagerly avoiding her ex Grigor Dimitrov's Instagram, in which he looks happier than ever. His new relationship with Nicole Scherzinger might be the big reason for the smile on his face.

According to Perez Hilton, "Nicole Scherzinger has been cozying up to 24-year-old tennis pro Grigor Dimitrov since July. The pairing comes just nine months after Nicole and her long time boyfriend Lewis Hamilton parted ways."

A source commented, "They're completely besotted with each other. But they've been careful not to be pictured together because they don't want the pressure of the relationship being in the public eye."

Do you think Grigor Dimitrov will ever get to Maria's level? Let me know in the comments below!
