‘GTA 6’ Release Date Hinted By Rockstar North; Game Might Come Out In 2018

Rockstar North confirmed that they have a lot in store for the "Grand Theft Auto" series and that a release date of "GTA 6" is not far from happening.

According to Rockstar boss Leslie Benzies, the studio has plenty of ideas for the future of the game that could further expand what they have in "GTA 5," as it was reported by Develop Online.

"We've got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do," Benzies revealed. "We don't know what 'GTA 6' will be, but we've got some ideas."

Furthermore, he also talked about the potential setting of the game, wherein he is considering other parts of the US as their basis.

"It comes from the idea first," he said about the possible setting of "GTA 6" once the release date is announced. "Where is it going to be set is the first question. Then that defines the missions; you're doing different things in LA than in New York or Miami. The map and story get worked up together, and the story is a basic flow of how it works out so you can layer the missions in."

However, other websites such as GTA 6 Grand Theft Auto website speculated that the game could also include the entire country as a map.

"Rockstar is planning to inculcate the entire US map in Grand Theft Auto 6, which we all know will be the successor of Grand Theft Auto 5," the website revealed. "People have a lot of expectations from GTA 6 and this can be verified by the rumors, which are hot in the market."

Furthermore, Christian Today also noted the growing online community for "GTA 5," wherein the site claimed that the studio could potentially consider a MMORPG style of gameplay for the "GTA 6" release date.
