After the talks of "Back To The Future 4" release date came up, actors Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson revealed their intention to reprise their roles if ever a fourth part of the movie pushes through.
In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, the actor who plays Doc Emmett Brown in the film claimed that he would play the role if it was offered to him and if the studio pushes through with a "Back To The Future 4" release date.
"I would love to do Doc again, no question," Lloyd said. "[But] it's tough to come up with an idea that contains the excitement of the original three."
He, however, talked about the possibilities of the film and how different it would be since they, the actors, have aged in a big way since the last movie was filmed.
"So it would be a real challenge for the writers to come up with an original Back To The Future story that has the same passion and intensity and excitement as the other three," he said about the potential announcement of a "Back To The Future 4" release date. "But it could be done, you never know."
Lea Thompson, who plays Lorraine Baines McFly, the mom of Marty McFly, also had the same sentiments Brown had with regard to filming and continuing with the series.
"Age makeup is kind painful, and it's strange to act in because if you move your face too much you tear it, and if you tear it you ruin the whole day," she said in an interview with The Toronto Sun, as she considers the release date of "Back To The Future 4."
"It's a different time to be older now," she added. "I'm sitting here basically wearing the same dress my daughter would wear. I've got the same hair my daughter would wear. We can get away with that stuff."
