Last, week, Manny Pacquiao next fight was supposed to be announced but his camp said that the Filipino boxer is not yet ready to make the decision.
With that said, the speculations on who Pacquiao will fight next continue and the favorites remain to be Americans Timothy Bradley and Terrence Crawford.
However, recent reports indicate that Bradley is the likelier candidate to get the nod from Bob Arum and Top Rank but the American boxer said they are still negotiating.
"We're still negotiating," he said. "I would love to (fight Pacquiao), but right now, we're still negotiating. We'll know something real soon, if we'll do it or not," Bradley said via ABS-CBN news.
Bradley added that his desire to fight Pacquiao is very high as he believes Pacquiao is still one of the top-tier fighters in the sport.
"Manny is a tough guy. He always come prepared. He's very durable, a very tough opponent, he's one of the best in the world. He's always tough," Bradley said.
Bradley also said that the third fight might be a different story since he now have a new trainer.
"But you know, with my new trainer, I feel that maybe I'll be more prepared for what Manny brings, and we'll come with a really good game plan to try to win the fight," he added.
Should Bradley not be Pacquiao's opponent for his last match on April 9, the American will likely fight Canelo Alvarez according to Bob Arum.
"If Bradley wins and is not fighting Pacquiao, I'd like to make him with Canelo. That's a good fight," Arum told ESPN.com via IBTimes. "If Canelo beats Cotto, I've talked to (Alvarez promoter) Oscar (De La Hoya) about the winner of Bradley-Rios fighting Canelo, and he loves it."
