Zooey Deschanel may be back to work on "New Girl" season 5, but that doesn't mean that she feels any less for her baby daddy Jacob Pechenik. In fact, Zooey Deschanel may be suffering from a case of "distance makes the heart grow fonder".
According to Daily Mail, "The honeymoon phase clearly hasn't worn off for these two newlyweds. As Zooey Deschanel, 35, kissed her husband Jacob Pechenik goodbye, at LAX airport on Sunday, her man couldn't resist giving her pert posterior a quick squeeze. The pair shared a warm embrace and proudly displayed their affection while parting ways with a kiss and a squeeze."
Right after that sweet parting, Zooey was seen back on the set of "New Girl", looking right back at home. According to Daily Mail, "Zooey Deschanel was spotted back on the set of New Girl after a few months of maternity leave. And the star looked happy to be back as she filmed scenes and chatted with a female friend on set of the hit Fox sitcom in Los Angeles on Tuesday."
Having a baby made Zooey Deschanel much more optimistic than she ever was. She bonded with her potential "New Girl" competition Megan Fox over having a baby.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Zooey Deschanel gushed about connecting with Megan Fox. She said, "She seems like a really good mom. It's fun to talk about kids once you have them. I think when you don't have kids you're like, 'Why are they talking about their kids so much?' And then when you do have one you're like, 'All I want to do is talk about my kid!'"
She added, "We've talked a lot about how when you have a new baby that's all you talk about. We've talked about the birthing process and diapers and things like that. I didn't give her any advice! She's read every book already."
Zooey Deschanel may have made the decision to choose "New Girl" season 5 over her baby and husband Jacob Pechenik after the celebration of the 100th episode of "New Girl".
She looked as happy as she can be as she stood by her "New Girl" cast members celebrating a big moment in her career.
It was noted right before Thanksgiving that Megan Fox was stepping in for Zooey Deschanel for "New Girl" season 5, but the possibility of complete replacement became more and more real.
