Golden State Warriors Guard Klay Thompson Claims He Is Best Shooting Guard In The League

There is no denying that the Golden State Warriors are dominating the NBA right now as they stand at 26-1 and they continue to demolish every contender that comes their way.

Spearheaded by reigning MVP Stephen Curry, the Dubs' roster is just too loaded with talent and many believes they have the best backcourt right now.

With that said, Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group spoke with shooting-guard Klay Thompson and he was asked who he believes are the best players in each position in the league right now.

"I'm going to go with myself," Thompson said. "We're 26-1. ... I have confidence in myself."

And when he was asked who the best point guard is, it was a no-brainer answer and vouched for his teammate Curry. Also, he was asked who he thinks is the better shooter between the two of them, he went with the MVP as well.

"Right now, Steph's a better shooter," Thompson said. "I'm trying to catch him. Just by a little, though. Not by a lot. I can't say he's way better than me. He is one of the greatest, and it's an honor to be in the same backcourt with him."

Moreover, team executive and legend Jerry West also believes they have another top-10 player in the lineup in Draymond Green. He caught up with KNBR Radio and West told them that the forward is a superstar in his eyes.

"I think honestly we have two of the top 10 players in the league-Draymond Green is the second one. He's the most underrated player in the NBA, period," West said. "There are very few players, I think, anyone in our organization would trade for him. He's just a remarkable player. Watch him handle the ball, watch him make passes, defensively he's everywhere. If he's not a top-10 player in this league, I don't know who is."
