Charlie Hunnam and his girlfriend Morgana McNelis made a rare public appearance earlier this month. The incident not only delighted their fans but also prompted rumors once again that they may be engaged.
As reported by Just Jared, the "Sons of Anarchy" actor and jewelry designer attended Jennifer Klein's Annual Holiday Party last Dec. 5 in California. They were spotted leaving the bash that was attended by other celebrities including Chace Crawford, Amy Adams and Tyra Banks.
The couple already got major attention for attending the event as they were usually very private about their lives. But as seen on pictures published on Mail Online, what was also caught on camera was the jewelry designer hiding her hands especially the left hand that may possibly sport an engagement ring. It was not clear if the gesture was intentional or not.
Charlie Hunnam and Morgana McNelis have both been mum about their relationship despite dating for the past eight years. They have not even addressed the constant rumors that they might be engaged. But the public has yet to see a ring on the jewelry designer's finger despite the rumors.
Three years ago though, it seemed the tables were turned and it was the "Sons of Anarchy" actor who received a ring instead.
"She told me she was making me a diamond encrusted ring-she's a jewelry designer, not an actor-and I was like 'Uh-oh. This is not going to go well for me,'" the "Sons of Anarchy" actor revealed to Elle. "But I love it. It's so discrete and beautiful."
While Charlie Hunnam and Morgana McNelis seemingly does not appear to have plans to divulge details of their relationship anytime soon, much more confirm if they were apparently engaged, the jewelry designer has shared what it took to make their partnership work.
"I think the key to maintaining a good balance is creating a safe space within the relationship for both partners in which to grow and evolve," she told Taylor magazine in October. " It's very important to be present and participate in each other's experiences so that falling in love doesn't happen just once, it continues to happen over and over."
