Red Velvet's 'Dumb Dumb' Appears On Rolling Stone List Of 2015's Best Music Videos [VIDEO]

Red Velvet's music videos stood out in 2015, and Rolling Stone magazine took note.

The SM Entertainment girl group, Red Velvet, released the music video for "Dumb Dumb" back in September, and this week Rolling Stone recognized the hit song's music video as one of this year's best. "Dumb Dumb" appeared in the top ten best music videos of 2015 on Rolling Stone's website.

"Dumb Dumb" came in ninth place, nestled between Stromae's "Quand C'est" and Churches "Empty Threat."

Rolling Stone highlighted "Dumb Dumb" for it's "distinct aesthetic and muted palate" and fashion sense.

The blurb compared "Dumb Dumb" to other K-pop songs, and mentioned Big Bang's "Bang Bang Bang" as an over-the-top option for people looking for something a bit more "explosive" K-pop video.

No other K-pop or Asian act appeared on the list, which was topped by Missy Elliott's "WTF (Where They From)", the video that marked the legendary singer's return to the music world.

Since it's September release, "Dumb Dumb" has been viewed over 23 million times on YouTube.

"Dumb Dumb" was Red Velvet's third single of the year, following March's "Ice Cream Cake" and "Automatic." It was directed by Beomjin J, a cinematographer who also worked on EXO's "Call Me Baby."
