'Avengers: Infinity War' Cast News And Plot Spoilers: Marvel May Re-Cast ‘Daredevil’ for ‘Avengers: Infinity War’

'Avengers: Infinity War' Cast News And Plot Spoilers: Avengers: Infinity War Part I won't hit theaters until 2018, but there are rumors that Marvel's The Defenders (Iron Fist, Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage) will be teaming up with Earth's Mightiest Heroes for Avengers: Infinity War.

It was recently announced that Marvel and Netflix were teaming up on the Defenders. Before Daredevil debuted on Netflix, it was confirmed that this series, along with Marvel's Jessica Jones, Marvel's Luke Cage and Marvel's Iron Fist, will be part of the MCU.

""I have not received that call! Could you imagine? That would be the coolest thing ever," Marvel's Daredevil star Charlie Cox told ET Online.

"I have no idea how... Marvel TV and Marvel Studios are two very different things. So even if the character were to appear in that film, that doesn't necessarily mean that I would appear in that film. I will pick a fight with the guy that they choose! That would be a dream. But that is not something that has been discussed with me at this point."

According to the 'Avengers: Infinity War' co-director Anthony Russo, 'The Defenders' won't make appearance in new Marvel film

"It's complicated. When we start to serialize the telling of stories is difficult," Russo said in a recent interview. "You have to have a lot of control and focus on the course of history. The films are controlled by a group led by Kevin Feige, so they function as a unit. Other products, even if they are from Marvel, are controlled by others. Then there is the possibility of a crossover, but is more complicated."

Avengers: Infinity War co-director Joe Russo says fans "will not be disappointed" in how many characters are set to appear in Avengers: Infinity War.

"We have so many characters we're dealing with. We're breaking ground on Avengers: Infinity War. We have a board with 67 characters on it," Captain America: Civil War director Joe Russo told a panel at the Wizard World New Orleans Comic Convention.

"Everything is finite, right? Nothing can last forever," Russo told the panel.

Avengers: Infinity War - Part 1 won't be released until May 4th, 2018,
